One of our favorite up and coming bands, San Diego’s Tape Deck Mountain, is making headlines, impressing the, otherwise unimpressionable, music cynics at Pitchfork. WRITE UP HERE. We were properly introduced to Tape Deck Mountain during a showcase at San Diego’s North Park Music Thing conference back in August. Lo-fi or “mid-fi” (as the band describes themselves)– whatever it is, we like our rock n’ roll dirty and will definitely keep our eyes and ears on these guys.  Tape Deck Mountain’s debut album, Ghost, is out on November 17th.
