SEZIO FOUR DAY WEEKEND

The days may be getting shorter, but this weekend, San Diego, CA is guaranteed a long one. The Four Day Weekend music festival presented by Sezio will be hosted at the beautiful and vintage Sunset Temple, located in the heart of San Diego’s creative hub, North Park. The event will feature up and coming artists from all over the country paired with San Diego and Los Angeles favorites. Doors open promptly at 9pm for the all ages event, with nightly tickets available for $10 pre-sale or $30 for a 4 day pass.

Coming off of the release of their sophomore album, Garden of Arms, Peter Wolf Crier‘s supremely charismatic lyrics and fuzzy distortions take purpose through the harmonies of indie rock duo, Peter Pisano and Brian Moen. The men from Minneapolis, Minnesota take to the stage Thursday, November 10th, as they kick off the weekend with fellow crooners, Chairs Missing, project of Paul Remund, formerly of Tape Deck Mountain, and San Francisco’s Birds & Batterires.

The young and ambitious San Diego trio, Dirty Gold, is set to headline the second night alongside artists, Rafter and the newest buzz-band you will soon love, Oregon Bike Trails. The tendered aged high school crew that is Dirty Gold have spent the last few months preparing their experimental, surf-pop debut EP, Roar,  which is set to release on Autumn Tone Records, Aquarium Drunkard’s label venture, April 12 of 2012.

Saturday brings to light the genius behind Los Angeles based performers, Lord Huron. The use of a polyrhythmic, folk pop vibe is enhanced by front man Ben Schneiders effortless vocals, Lord Huron have made waves throughout the indie community  delivering music that could easily be the concluding soundtrack to any cheerful tale. Also taking to the stage alongside Lord Huron are Los Angeles and INDIGENOUS’ own So Many Wizards, who will fill your ears with dream pop that will linger for days. So Many Wizards are joined by and San Diego brothers, Writer. We expect 2012 to be a big year in respect to label deals for both bands.

Hailing from the streets of Brooklyn, New York and coveting on stage residency of the last night of the Four Day Weekend music fest is Real Estate. After releasing their sophomore album, Days, on October 18 of this year with Domino, the band has been touring the US and leaving us in a daze from their psychedelic output.
