After taking some time off to record, the post-punk dance trio, Moving Units, announce two Southern California dates. Formed in Silver Lake in 2001, Moving Units are hailed as LA’s answer to New York’s flood of post-punk bands including The Rapture, Yeah Yeah Yeah’s and Liars. Entering their 10th year, Moving Units continue on their path, winning over fans one show at a time. Their combination of reckless abandon, raw primal energy, and an underlying sexuality permeates their music and keeps fans coming back for more.

In the spring of 2010, the band recorded with renowned musician/producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Beck, Air, Charlotte Gainsbourg) to produce their second EP (bookending their two full length albums), which will be released early 2011.
