Julian Plenti, aka Paul Banks, front man of one of our favorite bands, Interpol, has released a new record, Julian Plenti is…Skyscraper on Matador Records.  It features contributions from guests including Ratatat’s Mike Stroud, Interpol’s Sam Fogarino, and Charles Burst of the Occasion. We’re usually skeptical of alter-ego projects (and rightfully so), but this one reflects Interpol, but brighter and lyrically, Banks Plenti is a bit sexier.
