A big thanks to Los Angeles traffic boredom and KCRW for turning us on to Jack Peñate. We’re still kicking ourselves for not seeing him at The Casbah with Miike Snow last Monday night. Sadly, Jack’s headed back to the UK after a show tonight at Spaceland in Los Angeles. We can only hope he’ll make his away back across the pond soon.

His most recent release on XL, Everything is New, is an interesting blend of afro-beat, dance-pop, and vocals that make you warm inside — available on itunes. ”Pull My Heart Away,” is our favorite track and if you stepped in the INDIGENOUS office at any point today, you probably heard us playing it  or even better, witnessed us dancing beside our desks… (sorry neighbors).
