Happy Birthday To Us! Libations at The July San Diego Rumble With Harlem, Sunday Times and What Laura Says

Announcing the July edition of the San Diego Rumble music showcases presented with FUTURE SOUNDS. Not only will we be celebrating INDIGENOUS’ Birthday, but we have some VERY special guests this month… HARLEM, SUNDAY TIMES and WHAT LAURA SAYS W/ DJ HALLORAN.

Harlem

If you don’t know Austin’s three-piece, HARLEM, you are in for a ride. They just released their second LP, Hippies, on Matador Records. Described by Pitchfork to “wear their grime on their sleeve…crafting bubblegum choruses flavored with booze and cigarettes,” get ready for one hell of a set.  harlem_friendly_ghost.mp3

Next are San Diego’s SUNDAY TIMES. Also a three piece, these guys are a chaotic blend of 60’s pop influenced music combined with the energy and attitude of late 70’s punk. You never know what will happen at a Sunday Times show but one thing is for sure, you will love it. As for a recorded release, you’ll just have to wait in anticipation with the rest of us.

Sunday Times

Kicking off the night and traveling through the west coast Rumble tour are INDIGENOUS artist, WHAT LAURA SAYS. Their eclectic sound is a hodgepodge of blues, pop, americana and good ole fashioned rock n’ roll. Their sophomore release, Bloom Cheek, is out on July 6th on Terpsikhore Records – label formed by members of the band, ANNUALS. WHAT LAURA SAYS live show is layered and dynamic, so get there early because they will not disappoint.

Plus, our very good friend and familiar voice – former FM 94/9 Music Director and DJ, Michael Halloran, will be making a special appearance to play some tunes for you.

In honor of our birthday, FREE TRUMERS FOR ALL (while supplies last, so arrive early) and when they run out, you can buy them for $3.
