“Enemy/Lover is not just indie rock-club big. It’s mainstage big. Listening to Enemy/Lover, it takes no stretch of the imagination to see the band’s long name inching its way toward the top of all sorts of bills in the months ahead.” - Pitchfork

“…all the more refreshing to hear a band like DotG put out an album that sounds so nakedly ambitious and unabashedly big. This is a band with enormous potential to please both conventional and fringe musical palates.” - KCRW, Playing on Prefix

“Enemy/Lover plays like a crash course in the last decade of crossover indie and the ’80s anthems that paved its way.” – The Onion AV

“…this band is destined to breakout” – I Guess I’m Floating

“Combining the sweet sounds of ’80s rock, especially that of soundtracks and scores, with hunks of uber romantic dream-rock, the end result is a little bit rock and roll and a little bit synth-y groove-fest.” – Consequence of Sound

“Debut Album From Dreamers of the Ghetto Soars Above The Rest” – CBS Radio’s Street Date
