Following the release of their third album, The Suburbs, Arcade Fire will take the stage at Madison Square Garden for a two-night stint on August 4th and 5th. They will be joined by label-mates, Spoon. Tickets are still available and a dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to Partners In Health, an organization helping impoverished communities around the world combat disease and poverty. Kudos to Arcade Fire for giving back.
As for the rest of us who do not have the pleasure of living in NYC, the August 5th show will be streamed live on Youtube. This will be the inaugural concert of a new live music venture between Vevo and YouTube, which is sponsored by American Express. Trailer below…
